Hugs
for Homeless Animals is a humane education organization who
provides support programs that bridge the public with animal caring
organizations.
Since their beginnings in 1996, they have worked diligently to help
animals who have found themselves homeless or lost. They have acted as
an advocate to their well-being. They have educated and prodded humans
to do better to understand and care for the animals whom they have the
privilege of guardianship. They provide programs to assist the animal
welfare industry to fulfill their goals to provide good homes, receive
capital funding, and to educate the public in this regard. |

The Humane Society of Sonoma County
founded in 1931, is a not-for-profit, nationally recognized charitable
organization that serves animals and people throughout Sonoma County.
Donations from individuals, businesses and foundations who share our
commitment to the animals and to the quality of life in our community
make our services and programs possible.
Every dollar given goes to work for the animals and people right here
in Sonoma County. Without your donations we would be unable to fund the
programs so vital to our mission of providing quality care and a safe
haven for our companion animals, finding each animal a loving home and
providing education and outreach to better the lives of people and
their pets. |

Precision Pet
Grooming is
hosted by the facility of Countryside Kennels. In cooperation with each
other we are able to provide bathing and grooming as well as animal
boarding, training, and daycare. Animals are housed according to their
needs in large communal yards or private runs, unlike other salons
which only offer cages where the dogs cannot exercise or "do their
business." Cats and other small animals are housed in their personal
carriers for familiar surroundings and provided with blankets and
water. You may leave your dog for the full day free of charge included
with the cost of your grooming or bathing appointment. Dogs, cats, and
other small animals are charged on a sliding scale based upon size and
type of coat. |

Hugs For Homeless Animals
Worldwide Lost and Found Pets Program. OFTAnet operates to assist
lost pets to get back home quicker and safer by working through our
network of online shelters, animal control agencies and other missing
pet networks.
Why is this so important to us and should be
important to you. Many shelters must make life and death decisions
about the stray animals that they take into their shelters. These
decisions must be made, for the most part, because of overcrowding in
the shelters. Many shelters need to make this decision within 72 hours,
some less. This is valuable time that your pet needs to find his way
home. Our procedure will enable us to get your notices out quicker to
give your lost pet that valuable time and exposure he or she needs to
find his or her way back home to you.
